Hi, I’m Liv Lane, yoga teacher (RYT-500), massage therapist, and founder of Balanced Acts Wellness.
I completed dual teacher trainings through the Jivan yoga teacher training program (200hr 2014 & 300hr 2016) and have been teaching yoga since 2014.
After a chronic health diagnosis and several injuries, yoga became my way to move safely. The idea of meeting ourselves on our mats each day allowed me to move safely and without judgment. However, what started as a physical practice certainly did not end there. I found not only a path through yoga but a Hub where many spokes lead to a lifetime of learning and discovery.
I aim to make every class I teach a safe place for my students. I encourage students to respect their bodies and minds and know that they are perfect exactly how they are.
My classes focus on safe alignment, body awareness, and a healthy dose of mindfulness.
I believe that yoga is a tool, and what we learn on our mats in class is meant to be used as we go about our days. —
