Experiencing how sound guides, restores, and heals
With Andrea Wenger and Wendy Brown
Friday, August 25th
7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Be still and listen. What do you feel? What do you hear?
Take a few, deep breaths and instead of blocking out the outside world, allow yourself to absorb the energy of sound.
Everything has a sound, a vibration, and a frequency…
and it affects us, if only on a subtle level.
Certain sounds have soothing, healing energy; and the more we can nurture ourselves with positive vibrations, the more our frequency is uplifted and our physical bodies renewed.
Join us for a deep experience of the power of sound vibrations and the movement of energy through your body. A combination of breath work, meditation, and yin yoga will prepare you for a sound bath immersion into vibration. The sounds of bells, drum, voice, crystal-singing bowls and more will promote rejuvenation and deep healing on all levels.
Come with your intentions, and bring pillows/blankets/whatever allows you to completely and fully relax lying down, for an extended period of time.
This sound bath will be held at our retreat location in Glen Arm, rain or shine.
Cost is $25 through August 18th; $35 thereafter.
Thanks for the yoga class Wednesday evening. You mentioned that the class was a bit different than some of yours and I think you said something about wanting feedback? Ok, here it is: It was very effective for me, and the next day (yesterday), I felt really good and better than many other recent days – alert, clear-headed, body felt better in a bunch of ways. And my shoulder seems to be gradually improving, too. Thanks.Holden
